  • Designed For The Trail: Unlike traditional running shorts or gym shorts, the Skyline Trail Shorts are specifically crafted for backpackers and trail runners. Offering durability without the weight and functionality without sacrificing mobility, they're perfect for covering miles in comfort.
  • Protective & Mobile: The 8-inch inseam provides protection from the sun and trail hazards, while still allowing for ample mobility above the knee.
  • Ultralight and Breathable: Weighing just ounces, these shorts are impressively comfortable and breathable.
  • Enhanced Ventilation: With targeted diamond pattern mesh placement, the Skyline Trail Shorts offer excellent ventilation in the crotch and hips. The carefully honed fit allows for airflow without feeling overly roomy, ensuring comfort even during the most intense activities.
  • Quick-Drying and Odor-Resistant: Thanks to their quick-drying ability and moisture-wicking fabrics, these shorts prevent odor buildup, allowing you to stay fresh and comfortable even after long days on the trail. This will also help you avoid chafing.

Too tight in thighs, too expensive for what they are

Bought the size that would fit my 34” waist. They fit my waist fine, but were too tight on my thighs and glutes. Also, I was hoping the liner would have legs but they were just briefs. Description didn’t say what the liner style was. I fear the hem on the briefs would chafe between my legs. And finally, I was in my local running store and saw name-brand lined shorts of identical quality for $50. Where’s the direct-to-consumer discount on these? Way overpriced for what you get!

Awesome shorts

I bought these shorts to hike the Grand Canyon. I wanted something that was light, nonrestrictive, and breathable. These shorts hit all the marks they are also comfortable and look great.

Skyline Trail Shorts are Great

I previously purchased Skyline Trail Shorts with liner which are very comfortable. Wanted to try Skyline Trail Shorts without liner and see the difference. Both are fit great and are comfortable.

Seemed like a cheap swim suit

These just did not work for me. The fit wasn't great for me personally. But also the liner was not good. It was like the liner on a cheap pair of swim trunks that used to be common years ago. Maybe some people love the ultra light, almost nothing feel and that's enough to compensate, but these were a fail for me. And, even as a monthly paying member I was required to pay $10 to send them back even though I was not looking for a refund and just spent it on other Outdoor Vitals gear.
