NOTE: Weights may vary up or down .25 oz as thickness will also vary slightly. The closed cell foam will also show marks easily, so a variety of markings & variation in coloration should be expected even on new items. This is not a problem, but simply due to the fabric of the foam pad. Marks will eventually fade.

I carry this or the shorter version on every outdoor adventure. Whether it be a day hike, week long adventure, or long walk with my dog. It is so light, great as a seating pad, or platform to stretch out on the trail during breaks, and at camp is essential to go under my sleeping pad. It adds protection and warmth, plus acts to aid in reducing sliding. So light and useful. In its nature, not super durable, I call mine the "Manatee" because it is all nicked up, but still loveable and super important. Love this piece of gear.
I ordered this foam pad to put below my slepping air pad to protect it and provide some extra R-value. I didn't realize how crazy lightweight it is and soft and super in-expensive. Plus you can take hiking breaks and sit or lay on it as opposed to the ground/rocks. Its a solid part of my pack weight-loss.
I purchased this pad to replace my old one. I use this primarily under my air mattress pad to prevent it from punctures. It also adds an additional barrier under my main pad to help keep me war. (I'm a cold sleeper.) You can roll it and place on the outside of your pack, or you can fold in and put it inside. You can also fold in multi layers and use it ass a sit pad instead of bringing another piece of gear. Just a reminder, its 1/8" thick. Take care of your gear.
This has become my favorite item and comes on every trip. So light and has many uses. I use it as a sit and rest pad. I use it to sit on my knees in front of my tent when getting setup at camp. I use it under my sleeping pad for protection and extra warmth, but also to keep my pad from sliding on the tent floor at night. If you have a frameless pack, it can also be packed next to your back in your pack for extra comfort and structure. A must have item for me!
