Ultralight Down Booties

Extremly well made, nice and warm, havent used in the super cold temperatures but wore them in my house to try and felt my feet getting hot and my body. If you are a size 10-10.5 i recommned getting the medium the large has alot of extra space, instead of returning them on my end ill just use the extra space to keep my sawyer filter or portable batteries warm with my feet.

Light, warm. Extremely easy to pack; simple laundry. Light weight helps recover battered
Toes. Easy pampering for toes.
Ankle elastic for me not tight. Fragile fibers make only inside sleeping unit. Never soil product or get damp; only used sleeping.
Fluffy. Highly recommend.

I've had these for over a year now, quite a few overnights in them. I just recently experienced a -20ºC night in the backcountry and these booties kept my feet nice and warm.

My current winter sleep system is a foam mat, winter air mattress, -6ºC bag with a -6ºC quilt... plus my OV Booties. This particular night I slept in merino will socks, tights, and a long sleeve shirt.

Looking forward to my next night out.

They compress very small in your pack, weigh just 3.7oz and are very warm. Durability is for tent use only.

I’ve owned these for a couple years and use them in Pennsylvania during the winter. I’ve used them to sleep in down to 20 degrees and theyhave no problem keeping my feet warm at those temps.

I love my ultra light down footies! They keep my feet so warm. The quality is great! I will recommend these to my friends and family!

My hiking season in the Sierras does not start until mid-July. Had to test them out locally sleeping in my backyard with my back country setup. Warm, oh so warm. I love it!

They are so light you don't even know they are there. Meanwhile your feet are nice and warm after a day on the trail.

These things compress down to the size of your fist, weigh nothing, and keep my feet warm. Great addition to the kit.

My feet are my biggest thermoregulation issue while sleeping. These light-weight, small volume booties save me from having to pack a much heavier and higher volume overall sleep system.

Very much worth the purchase. For sleeping only. Walking around camp in them would ruin them.

I haven't used them as of yet. My next camping trip is May. Stay tuned.

I bought these for my husband for Christmas and he wore them this last weekend in -20° F and absolutely LOVED them! He said they were extremely warm and kept his feet cozy all night.

The elastic is a bit tight around my ankles but otherwise plenty of room & warm

Ordered XL I'm size 13 mens and they fit perfect, but at end of day I hope i don't need them.

Its good for the soul to admit it when we are wrong and I sure was, Ever since these came out I thought they would be great, wonderful for cold feet, just what I needed in camp and at home, something I would be using all the time......but I just knew my size 15 feet would never fit in them. Watching these go on sale, go off sale, seeing Tayson rave about how well they work, just fueled my discontent for not having them. Finally I could take it no more - a pair were on order. So I admit, I was wrong, they fit, they are comfortable, they are not too warm, they are not too cold, they on my feet in bed, on my feet in my quilt, and on my feet every night since they arrived. So, I was wrong - don't be like me and just order a pair.

I was looking forward to checking out these booties at my local Hunt expo; they did not have a demo pair for me to see. The rep recommended I get a size XL (I wear size 11.5-12 shoe and have a wide foot). I submitted my order. When I received them, I was excided when the XL pair weighed 3.9 oz (with the stuff sack included). They were very packable. I was very disappointed and felt miss led to see that they are only 20% down (I thought they were all down). I saw nowhere on the description that they were only 20% down! When I tried them on (while wearing a pair of clean socks), they XL's were a good 2" longer than my toes. I found the elastic around my ankle to be way too tight and very uncomfortable! Seems that an XL size should have a larger elastic. I feel they would be much better with an adjustable ankle elastic. I also felt that there were gaps of no insulation around the bottom seams, and that could lead to cold spots. I initially thought that I would just cut the elastic to open up the ankle more, but the lack of encompassing insulation was the "straw that broke the camel's back". I have decided to return them. In the return process I was shocked to see a huge chunk taken out of the return price for a refund vs store credit. This was disappointing also. I guess I will try a cheap pair of down booties for now!

...than a pair of wool socks. As a hammock user the cold can get you if your not prepared, especially your feet. Combined with my wool sleeping socks now for a couple of years I decided the grandson needed a pair. I just wish it had a tougher sole, I have to go to the bathroom at least once or twice a night and I hate removing them to step away from my hammock.

These booties appear to be what I need to keep my chronically cold feet warm while sleeping in my quilt. Seem well-made and fit well. Have not yet used them outdoors, but they are very warm indoors. Elastic cuffs might be a comfort issue, but they do not seem too tight on my legs. Will update after use.

I have size 14 feet, and these fit perfectly in size XL. Quality stitching, very warm of course,and stuff down small enough to always take with you in cool weather! Thank you OV!

I'm a women's size 8 and the small fit me perfectly. I got them for camping and haven't tried them there yet. But my feet were cold in bed at home so I put on the booties and I could feel them start to warm right away. That never happens with me. I usually continue to lay there waiting for whatever I put on my feet to start working. I can't wait to take these camping. I know my feet are going to be so much warmer. I'm going to be wearing these a lot at home and away. Be aware though, the fabric is fragile. They are NOT meant to walk around in. There is no sole. But I wouldn't want one. It would be like wearing shoes to bed.

I'm impressed so far. I'm taking them out to try in about a month. Seem to meet their purpose.
