Not all top quilts are the same…While many top quilts save weight and space, the StormLoft™ stands out by significantly reducing cold drafts, allowing you to stay warmer more effortlessly.

  • Draft Free Design: The draft-free shape of the StormLoft™ TopQuilt keeps you warm with a cut that naturally wraps around your body. It's wider in key locations & curves to match your body contours so the quilt effortlessly "falls" around you without gaps or cold drafts.  With 2 included pad straps, you REALLY don't have to worry about staying warm.
  • Ultralight & DWR Treated: Crafted from 10D DWR treated fabric and HyperDry™ wax-based DWR treated down (800+FP), this top quilt is ultralight, compressible, and moisture-resistant. It weighs a fraction of the weight of comparable sleeping bags.
  • Insulated Draft Collar: The soft & comfortable boxed-baffle draft collar will seal in your body heat when you cinch the quilt up around your shoulders on chilly nights.
  • Optimized Footbox: Our footbox reduces any pressure your feet could put on the bag and optimize warmth. Its anatomical shape match the natural splay of your feet while sleeping. Enjoy space right where you need it with less "dead spots" to heat where you can't utilize them.
  • Included Roll-top Dry Bag & Storage Bag

Save weight & space in your backpack while staying warm with a StormLoft™ Down TopQuilt.

Product Care

Your StormLoft Down Topquilt is a high performance piece of gear. It needs some extra attention to keep it performing at the highest level.

Please read through the care instructions below to ensure that you care for it properly:

Before Washing

  • Always wash your down product completely alone to prevent down migration.
  • Never wash your down product in a washing machine that has an agitator.
  • If you cannot follow either of these prior instructions you should hand wash your sleeping bag using the detergent and drying process described below.

The Wash & Dry Process

  1. Use a mild detergent like Dreft (for babies) or Nikwax (for technical gear).
  2. Choose Low Spin or Delicate wash.
  3. Choose Cold Wash & Cold Rinse.
  4. Hang dry until the sleeping bag is completely dry.
  5. Then loft and redistribute your down insulation in the dryer by running it for 10 minutes on low or no heat with 3 dryer balls.

Long Term Storage

  • Do not store down product compressed long term. Long term compression weakens the insulation's ability to loft and therefore insulate.
  • We recommend hanging it in your closet or putting it in a pillow case for storage between uses.

Improved sleep quality!

excellent product, I'm a newbie to sleeping quilts, so I was a bit apprehensive in terms of warmth rating with the 30° temperature that I had ordered , also went with a tall version as I'm 6.1 . I wouldn't say I'm a overly warm sleeper, as I sleep on my side and I alternate side(s) and back through the night. We had some car camping planned throughout Yellowstone, so before taking it on trail I figured I test on this trip, first week of June and in the tent the Thermadrop said the low was 30°. quilt was paired with Big Agnes 25in width Air Core pad R-value 4+. A few Lessons Learned the first night, but I did stay nice and warm, second night added a fleece balaclava and T-shirt, which dialed it in for me the rest of the trip! Sleeping felt natural with quilt and didn't have to detangle myself in middle of the night like i do with a sleeping bag! Be prepared that it's different, and be patient. Overall it improved my sleep quality and now looking forward to hitting the trail with it.

Light and packable

Very light weight and packable. I bought the long version and it fits me pretty well (I am 6’2”). The one trade off is that the foot box is very narrow, my legs have to stay pretty close together.

Nicely built quilt but poor customer service

I purchased this quilt after getting rid of a UGQOutdoor quilt I had been using for years. It arrived late so I didn't get a chance to use it for my backpacking trip, but it seems well made and trying it out in my home makes me think it will reflect its 20 degree rating. However, my overall purchase experience was soured when the quilt I purchased went on sale just a few days later. Although I had emailed customer service several times with questions, no one mentioned it was going on sale a few days later. When I saw the sale go live, I emailed customer service and they declined to offer a price adjustment credit. I would have much preferred a price adjustment and a positive buying experience versus the cheap t-shirt they included with the order.
