Very nice product. I would consider this perfect if it wasn’t for the zipper. Once I got my rain liner in there the zipper on the bag is useless. If it wasn’t for that it would be an easy 5 stars and I’m probably being picky.

Almost Perfect

Great pack! Only changes I would make are to have a smaller waist belt option, tighter closing for the top side pockets- I found the drawstrings a little difficult to maneuver, easier movement of securing lines around lower side pockets for water bottle access - maybe more elastic? and inside zip pocket to secure keys and cards not needed during hike so they can be put out of sight and out of mind and secured - although the deep inside pocket works. I was surprised how comfortable and perfectly it fit the first time as I am short-waisted. It sat perfectly on my hips and 30lbs with water felt light compared to old pack. The option to open the front zipper to stuff things in last minute was great but I still stuffed the pack from the top when packing. Super happy with the price point for what you get.

Great pack with lots of versatility

At 45 liters, this pack exceeded my expectations for how much interior room it had and the exterior options to stow gear. Tent, 30 degree synth bag, insulated pad and kitchen gear came in at only 13 pounds. Can’t wait to put this on the back and hit the backcountry

My First Ultralight Pack

I just received my pack so I have not worked out a load for it yet.

However, a well known complaint is the center zipper splitting the mesh pocket into 2 and also making the zipper useless if you use a packliner.

What caught my eye about 2 years ago was the outside pockets and, then low cost. It went from $200 to $350 Canadian which I feel is a tad high from a less known brand that is not made in USA.

The 60 is smaller than my 70 Kelty but smaller is what I was looking for. I'd see this as a summer pack as Canadian winter gear is bulky.

The other attraction was the outside pockets missing from a lot of ultralight packs. Love the hip pockets but the zippers are not as smooth as I would like. and the top pockets will act as water buckets because there is nothing to let the rain out of the bottom. The top pockets also hardly close up with the drawstring, so you better lash anything you have in them to the pack itself.

Overall a 4/5 and will do me for now to pare down my load.
