Delano Ultralight Backpacking Tarp

Delano- named after Utah’s third highest peak. As we were at the base of Delano Peak, we began to get plummeted by hail. Luckily, this quick deploy shelter came to the rescue and allowed us to escape the harsh weather conditions.

There is nothing better than hanging between two trees in your hammock, but nothing ruins that faster than rain or snow! Stay dry with an ultralight tarp that sets up in minutes. Size and weight are at the forefront of most lightweight or ultralight hikers minds and it should be. The Delano Ultralight Tarp line up comes in at 14 oz which means you can save massive weight over a tent with poles and liners! The tarps are specifically designed to cover our OV Ultralight Hammock system with room to spare for added protection. When it comes to storing the tarps, they easily fold back into their ultralight carry sack that is only a few inches tall!

Design and weight are important, but the true heart and soul of a tarp is the fabric used in its construction. Fabric, more than anything, determines weight and durability. Our Delano Tarps come in an ultralight model that utilizes 15 denier ripstop nylon that has been siliconized on the top side with a light PU coating on the underside to avoid any misting. The tarps come factory seam taped. Count on long term performance while adding only ounces to your pack!

Shelter in seconds

Great addition to my low weight hunting pack, used it during a heavy squall the day after I received it! Set up in about 2 minutes….myself, brother and gear all stayed dry! Excellent product

Great tarp but could be a little bit longer

This tarp is great kept me dry during some light thunderstorms last night. I love that it came with preattached strings and 6 loose stakes for fastening it down. My only gripe is that I wish it was a bit longer( like2-3ft) as it is just long enough to cover my hammock and I'm positive that had it been windy in the
wrong direction the rain would've easily gotten me wet. Still really like this tarp overall though.

Great light weight tarp

I was pleasantly surprised to see the the seams were already sealed. Not true for most, much more expensive tarps

Zip up hoodie.had issues

The draw string that pulls the hood around you face, pulled out on the right side. First time trying the figment. I managed to feed the draw string back in place and will now need to sew it in place. What would also be nice would be if you took the taper out of the waste. The jacket does fit. Only a bit tight in the stupid area. Now enough to be uncomfortable, just enough to tell me to lose a inch our two. The blow up pillow, checks out as advertised. Seriously looking at your backpack. Also I don’t see a 10x 10 tarp. How about one with loops down the center. Do that and you will have another sale from me. Also looking at you blankets.
Have a great day in Canada.
Ps, does you backpack also have a rain cover?
