Pre-hike testing: remained fully inflated for 5 consecutive days. Traction dots on the bottom are a nice touch, as are the retaining cord eyelets. Would have been nice for cord to be included. Overall good value.

I loved my first outdoor vitals pillow, but got tired of it scooting all over the tent. I tried putting it in a buff and tying it to my mattress, which worked pretty well, but then someone told me about the new one from OV that has a strap that ties onto it. No more need for the weight of an extra buff. Problem is, it developed over a dozen pinhole leaks on the upper surface in the first couple days I used it. No idea how it had so many holes other than could’ve been a bad batch of materials. I got a replacement and it seems like it’s working pretty well. Check to make sure yours is good by holding it under water before heading out into the back country. Outdoor Vitals customer service department is really good if you have an issue.

Pillow leaks. Used only a few days Won't hold air overnight. I tested the pillow for leaks in a tub of water. Valve is watertight but there are many miniscule leaks in the fabric. My pillow may have come from a detective batch, but it's uselesx .

Pillow is nice, but the air valve design is a bit fussy. You need to jam your finger in the hole to get it adjusted correct so it does not deflate. Once adjusted, works fine.

Have used it one time. Does the job.
