FUZE is a treatment that leaves pure silver mineral permanently adhered to the fabric & doesn't wash out. This treatment eliminates germs & denatures them on contact. That results in a 95% smell reduction after 24 hours of wearing compared to non-treated fabrics.

Quick Drying Moisture Management
The 80 GSM polyester fabrics used on the Altitude not only wick away moisture well, but dry incredibly quickly! The synthetic fabric is naturally hydrophobic - meaning that its fibers repel water rather than absorb it. This enables the fabric to dry very quickly after the weave of those fibers wicks moisture off your body or if you get wet from external factors.
Ultralight Weight
At just 4 oz, the Altitude may be the lightest weight sun hoodie we know of! Not only does it wick moisture & dry quickly, but the ultralight fabrics on the Altitude also BREATHE.
This is very important for use in high-exertion or high temperature activities. The lightweight & breathable fabric will protect your skin from the sun WITHOUT causing you to overheat. Wore this on a couple day hikes last year, including a 13 mile hike up to Clouds Rest and back. It was warm out and I was sweating, but always felt comfortable in the sun hoodie. It kept me from getting sunburned and the sun was on me all day. I haven’t had any issues with it, but I am not rough on my gear. I like it so much I bought a second one!

Kept me warm and dry as a base layer in 40 degree temps while hiking on easy trails. It allowed me to use less layers than I normally would use. Cool color too.
If you want lightweight, breathable and cool in hot temps, this is your sun hoodie. It gets reviews on being fragile - to me it is excellent quality, but I chose the UL quality over durability - an inevitable tradeoff in hiking gear. If you are worried about piling and snags, go with a thicker material and sweat it out. I love this hoodie so much, I bought two more (one for my BF and a backup for myself). 😊
Fits great! Does a nice job keeping the sun off my neck and ears. Sweat evaporates quickly and stays dry.
