The Skyline Trail Joggers are engineered with a perfect balance of protection, versatility, and mobility. These pants are designed for extended trips in the backcountry and comfort during active pursuits.

  • Designed For The Trail: Unlike traditional hiking pants, the Skyline Trail Joggers are built to give you unrestricted movement while allowing your legs to breathe easily. The carefully honed fit allows for airflow without feeling overly roomy, ensuring comfort even during intense activities.
  • Ultralight & Protective: At just 6.5 oz, these joggers are less than half the weight of other trail pants, but still provide full length protection from bugs, light brush along the trail, & UV rays.
  • Enhanced Full Length Ventilation: With targeted diamond pattern mesh placement, the Skyline Trail Joggers offer excellent ventilation in the crotch and all the way down both legs.
  • Quick-Drying and Odor-Resistant: Thanks to their quick-drying ability and moisture-wicking fabrics, these pants prevent odor buildup, allowing you to stay fresh and comfortable even after long days on the trail. This will also help you avoid chafing.

Whether you're hiking, running in cold weather, working out, or simply relaxing, these pants are built to perform during your active lifestyle. Add them to your gear arsenal and conquer your adventures with confidence.

    Great hiking pants!

The Skyline trail joggers make for great hiking pants! They have ample venting to lend flexibility in most environments in So. California. In the cooler months there is plenty of room to layer (side-zip dragon wool thermals are a great match)! The light blue color allows you to easily identify when a tick is attempting to make you a host and the material is relatively tear resistant if you end up bushwhacking.

I Wish the waistband was a little taller to provide better support to stay in place and not slide down. Otherwise, the jogger is great, lightweight and breathable!

    Great Joggers

Only just received but very impressed. Light fabric with excellent ventilation and a great fit (L - 173cm / 80kgs). Should be perfect for hot and humid summer weather here on the East Coast of Australia. Have followed the OV story for many years and need to try more OV products.

    Just shy of great

I’ve used these for a summer in the Canadian Rockies. Love the breathability and how quickly they dry. Sizing is good but for one big issue. They are too short. I am 5’10”!with a 32” inseam Originally bought the large regular and they were way too short. Then tried the tall and they were still too short. An inch of exposed flesh when you are sitting in mosquito land means pure torture. Another improvement would be to use narrower elastic at the ankles - perhaps an elastic drawcord.

My new "go to" backpacking pants

I wanted something lightweight that covered my legs and ankles (I hike in the Los Padres National Forest, and there are a lot of prickly things during the dry season). I got the M-Tall and wore them out on an overnight the day after they arrived. I did push through some dry brush. No nicks or scrapes on my legs. I think I avoided the poison oak, so I don't think I've given them the full Los Padres test, yet.

They are as lightweight and breathable as stated in other reviews I've heard (shoutout to the backpacking podcast for giving me the final push to buy these). They feel very nice against the skin. No awkward rubbing or chafing. And they look pretty nice. Quite happy with the purchase.
