Before Washing
- Never wash your jacket in a washing machine that has an agitator.
- If you cannot avoid and agitator you should hand wash your pants using the detergent and drying process described below.
The Wash & Dry Process
- Use a mild detergent like Dreft (for babies) or Nikwax (for technical gear).
- Choose Low Spin or Delicate wash.
- Choose Cold Wash & Cold Rinse.
- Hang dry or use low heat setting in Drying Machine.

Altura Dynamic Pant Fabric
The Altura Dynamic Pant uses a 4 way stretch Nylon that is optimal for comfort. This 175 g/m² double-weave fabric (93% nylon, 7% spandex) offers durability, mobility, and all-day comfort with just the right amount of structure. It's soft-on-skin feel and ultralight weight led many of our testers to start calling the Altura their "tactical performance pajamas" while out on the trail.
These pants are lighter, more breathable, & give you pajama-level comfort.
One factor of the comfort levels found in the Altura Dynamic Pant is the built-in mobility features. These pants were designed to give you unrestricted range of motion for rugged conditions.
Both the gusseted crotch and articulated knees improve mobility in these pants, and the trim fit is just roomy enough, without excess.
Another factor of comfort is breathability.
The Altura Dynamic Pant is equipped with large but low profile zipper vents to help dump heat during strenuous activities & maintain comfortable temperatures on the trail.
