Pursuit Hybrid Fleece

I just received my new pursuit fleece and love it. 😍 couldn’t be happier with the fit and construction. I have several pieces from OV and they have all been spectacular. This will go on all outdoor activities with me.

This fleece really hits the sweet spot for me in warmth and breathability and has become my go to running jacket. The fit is nice, and I find myself wearing this for most outdoor activities. I much prefer this over the Ventus hoodie. This will be a great backpacking/hiking mid layer. I’m 5’10” relatively lean and I wear size large. Like all OV sizing, you might want to go up a size if you are in between or stockier build.

I have the Ventus and it was and is way too hot, almost like working out in a garbage sack cutting weight for wrestling, hot. I rolled the dice on this to replace the Ventus as a light layer because I am a hot person and it doesn’t take much to make me hot. I have been wearing this around but finally was able to test it out on trail and man it’s exactly what I wanted! I was not over hot and no sweat running down my arms like the Ventus does to me. It breathed awesome, and the only spot with visible wet sweat was under my pack! This is a game changer for me and can’t wait to use it more on trail.

I have explored many a mid-layers and this piece is amazing. I have been sitting on this piece for awhile, thanks to the EXO crew! I recently tested this in a high-country scout. Weather was cool (high 40s) to low (high 30s), light rain, hail and cold wind. It was perfect. The fit is really nice, feels silky to the touch, layered well over a long sleeve baselayer and fit just fine under a windstopper layer and then puffer, I preferred it as a stand-alone and was kept warm with the hood up and down. The only feature that took getting used to was not having a chest pocket, but I soon got over it and feel like this piece is my favorite for active insulation. I generally run hot and have struggled with other brands, but this truly delivered all-day. I never took it off. Fantastic piece. Highly recommend!

I loved have this piece on my elk hunt. Worked as advertised. Very breathable when pushing through uphill hikes but surprisingly warm when temps dropped. I wore this piece 80% of the time on my 6 day hunt. Light weight and stuffed into my pack well when I didn’t need it. Can’t recommend enough

Hands down my favorite piece of gear. This midlayer can be worn to town or put through the toughest hikes or hunts on the planet and prove its worth every time. I have a similar item by Sitka and this one blows it away for fit, form, function and price. I lived in this shirt all fall from cool Sept mornings to frigid late November days, it performed flawless. I can't recommend this thing enough, especially for the price. OV knocked it out of the park with this one.

I love hybrid fleece that you guys are making. This is my third purchase of the same product, this time in black. I will use them on this fall/winter hiking and hunting trips. It’s a great product, super comfortable and breathable and keeps me warm when I’m huffing it. If you made a fourth color, I’d probably buy it!

I bought the Pursuit Hybrid Fleece to fill a gap in my bikepacking layering system, and it looks like it’s going to be exactly what I was looking for. The fit is excellent—athletic without feeling restrictive—and it packs down small enough to fit easily into my layering kit without taking up much space.

I haven’t had the chance to use it outdoors yet since I live in Florida and it’s simply too warm right now. Come this fall, I can’t wait to put it to use over my base layer for cool mornings and evenings around camp, and changing conditions.

My first impression is that the quality and construction are outstanding, and I’m looking forward to getting plenty of miles out of it this season.

I’m 6ft 195lbs and the large fit perfect, I can’t believe how light and thin it feels but provides great warmth,This makes it very packable.
One thing I’m learning about OV is the cloths are pretty much the best for cold weather and backpacking light,This is a great layer in my search for a purpose made garment and pretty much sold me on the whole line up

Great quality an L-tall fits perfectly for a 6-4 195lb guy. It’s too hot in TX right now to assess how it performs.

Have not had a chance to use it yet.I bought it for an elk hunt this September. The quality of the product looks great and it fits perfectly. If it works as good as it feels it should be fine.

I’m 6’6” with a 40” chest, 36”waist and long arms. The Large tall fits well as a mid layer. There is perfect amount of room around chest and shoulders.
It does not scrunch down super small, I’d say 2 hands worth. So it has some loft to it. Which makes it very warm I’d say. I have not put it through its paces yet but imagine this to be a perfect outer layer at play in cool mountain air in summer, or layered in for winter activities.

Very comfortable and perfect mid layer. I live in NoCal and this felt like it was designed for this type of weather. Hiking, concert, camping, and I also work outside sometimes. I will be purchasing more from Outdoor Vitals.

I have used this on multiple hikes now and is going to be a must have in my pack! Also was great at son's baseball game when the temp dropped to 60 degrees and windy. The stretch and warmth are great!

It's a great layer for when you're active, and underneath the Vario its an awesome layering system for when it's cold. It breathes well, fits comfortably, and the wrinkles fall out of it super quick if you're going into town. But even a kangaroo pouch on the front would have been super useful. I choose other fleeces when I feel I'm going to want pockets. This piece is about 95% there. At times, Outdoor Vitals seems to chase a weight spec and end up neglecting some functionality. They always have a reason why, but it never rings 100% true, since there are other similar pieces of gear out there that have pockets and work just as well. Sometimes I just want to put a goo pouch, chapstick, something, and I don't want it in my pants pocket. In running shorts, they may not even have a pocket, and I'm forced to grab a fanny pack for two small items. I’ll keep buying Outdoor Vitals gear because I like most of it really well, but a jacket-ish layer that doesn’t have pockets... I’ll have to skip and the Pursuit Fllece has proven this to me.

Amazing piece. The dual fabric design is smart and comfortable. The fit is athletic, which is nice for layering over if necessary.

This garment breathes exceptionally well, which is exactly why I bought it. It had a very athletic fit without feeling restricting due to its built in stretch. I will likely be purchasing again in a different color, it's a very comfortable garment.

I have hiked on multiple day trips wearing this fleece that bled off heat while on the move, but kept me comfortable during breaks. So lightweight, it will be included in my gear on every trip.

A versatile layer that is lightweight, incredibly breathable, and warm as long as the wind is not howling. Adding a thin windbreaker layer turns the fleece into an ultralight puffy, and it still wicks moisture to the outside of the material. The fit for Medium is fairly slim and "athletic," im 5'9" 170lbs with wide shoulders and i wont be able to fit many layers beneath the fleece.

Just the perfect high activity long-sleave hooded jacket for temps in the 45-65 - Fall weather or Spring weather in Wis. Can take it down even colder if your hiking/backpacking in winter burning calories. 1/2 zip allows your to dump heat if needed.

Love the weight and the materials used. Very comfortable and seems durable. Fit seems true to size.

YES! It’s that GOOD! This isn my second PHF from OV. This hybrid of materials is exactly the right, “not-too-hot, not-too-cold” outdoor gear— or frankly just going out of the house gear. The softness, warmth, fit and extra long zipper is just perfection.

Excellent active insulation piece for the alpine.

Last year when I ordered, the only color was black in an XL so I ordered it come to find that I really love the peace, super comfortable and can be worn with under layers or against the skin. So I ended up buying another one in green to have for hunting and general wear.

I wear this when I travel and when I hike, and will likely pick up another. I am usually a medium for OV and from reading reviews saw that some sized down. I wear a S size Pursuit Hybrid, and it fits just right. The hoodie is nice in hard wind and cooler conditions, and I love the material too.
