Men's Satu Adventure Shorts

Earlier I had purchased the skyline trail joggers and and really enjoyed the comfort they provided but as spring and then summer arrived I found myself hiking and training primarily in shorts. I had decided my next purchase of shorts would also be the skyline trail shorts. I couldn't wait to try them out and I was not disappointed. I purchased the shorts with the liner but I also want to try them without the liner. I love being outside with these shorts on the trail.

I’ve worn them on a couple of day hikes so far, and they were just excellent. Very comfortable, super light, and the built in belt is just chefs kiss.

Shorts are cut way too big. Outdoors vitals also refuses to exchange them since they were on holiday sale. Got nowhere with customer service. Very dissatisfied, will not ever order anything from these guys again.

Highly recommend this company I’m an older fella not much in the blue jeans anymore and I like shorts in the summertime and need to say I brought one of every collar pants and shorts. Love them. Highly recommended expensive but I’m hoping it’s worth it. They got a lifetime warranty. Might have to test their warranty someday.

Very nice shorts would buy again

Can't say enough these are my second pair. Had to downsize to 34" waste for the second set. Love the adjustablity of the wast band. But the real deal is the wear factor and stain resistance. So easy to clean and maintain. Great product keep it up. I wear these around the house almost every day when not fishing or hiking. Truly great product and material. Really like the length, pockets, design.

Very soft! Functions great and I love the way the pockets are designed. The built in belt seemed odd, but allows for micro adjustments to get the fit just right. Wearing it around town with a belt, no adjustment needed. With or without an additional belt for activities, the internal belt is great to get the fit dialed in.

I won't fault these shorts for not having large cargo pockets because they are designed to be ultralight and comfortable. They hit the mark right on the nose with that. They also look really good. I'm not going to just be wearing these when hiking.

Simply the best pair of shorts I have ever owned. The cut is perfect, just above the knee, fabric has just the right stretch and is super durable.
Please add more colors.

These shorts are very comfortable and I like the minimalist belt. Back pockets are important to me and these are ok. Holds items in well but sometimes a pain to get items in there

I live in the UK and bought my first two pairs of the Satu shorts when they first came out.....I can't remember exactly when that was but I have worn these shorts for that time solid. You can count the number of days when I haven't worn them at all on one hand. I was gutted when a zip broke on one pair, but it will be repairable and at the end of the day they have given great service for several years.

These shorts are comfortable, hard wearing, breathable, they've got handy pockets the back one is great for my passport when travelling. These are the best shorts I have ever purchased which is why I have just bought another two pairs!

I have other kit from OV and it's all really well designed and manufactured from quality materials. I have to say I'm not entirely sold on the top quilt idea. It works OK with a hammock upside down but thats just me. The KotaUL has become my go to travel sack. When I go to the US I do a mix of business and trekking and Paddleboard touring and it works great.

Perfect for those days when trail shorts aren't quite enough, and hiking pants are overkill.

Second pair of these, so worth the price!

I am always tentative to order shirts online as I have short legs and longer shorts make me look weird. These fit me perfectly. A little tight (for me) around the thighs in order to get the waist right, but they are slim and fit nicely. I wouldn’t want the legs any bigger or they would look weird. I love them. I’ll be wearing them on the trails for sure!

Might need to get the pants next:)

I love the Satu shorts. They are very comfortable and always are my go to shorts. They feel like a second skin.

I like these a lot, got them and the pants. Soft but not snaggy, stretchy but rugged feeling. Such a great combo! It may be ventilation overkill, but I'd like the side vents on the shorts too!

Love these shorts have a pair of brown green and charcoal. They look great. Take care of everything that I need to travel and are built to last!

Favorite pant. Fist bought them for the trail and loved them. Now I wear them at work for a few months then move them to trail hiking or working around the house. My jeans are jealous.

Very comfortable and very light feeling (5 star). The half belt design is TERRIBLE (no stars)! If you’re going to put a belt on there, make it a full belt. Why have belt loops then. I wear a real belt, old school, so now I either have to wear a real belt over the top of that one that’s sewn in there or I have to cut it out, which is most likely what I’m gonna do. Its like having a Porsche and putting some kind of friggin water bottle sticker on it. The lower front pocket is funky, limited to what you can put in it. Back pockets with the sown on cover is a nice touch, better than velcro or a snap. However, if you have man hands, it can be a little tight. If you are only going to wear these for hiking, then as her designs, they’ll be good however, if you wanted a multi-purpose pair of shorts to wear out in town and maybe wear a decent shirt that you might tuck in, I wouldn’t do it. They are comfortable.

I love the material these shorts are made of. Smooth, stretchy, tough, nice looking. And the design is thoughtful. My only issue with them is the waist sizing. I’m always a 32 waist in pants and shorts, so I ordered a 32 in these. I love everything about them, except the fact that I have to crank on the built-in belt or wear an additional belt to get them to fit right. And then they’re all bunched up around the waist, which is kind of uncomfortable and looks goofy. Unfortunately, instead of returning them, I thought they might shrink a bit when I washed them so I tried that. Nope. Oh well, guess I’ll just have to eat more ice cream and grow into them 😃. I’d recommend ordering a size down.

I live in Florida and a light quick dry shorts are a must. I now have 4 pairs in my rotation. They seem to hold up to wear and tear. Oh and yes I also backpack with them. Even in the Andes .

Too hot for humid summertime temps in the southeast.
