Solid poles

I decided to switch to these after 2 years of using Fizan poles, which failed me twice. These Komperdell poles are solid and very well made. Super comfy cork grips.

The trekking pole market is overwhelming with so many options

The trekking pole market is overwhelming with so many options, materials and designs available. Fortunately Outdoor Vitals makes it easy by conducting their own rigorous testing of all the products they feel meet their high standards. I did my own research and chose the aluminum version over the carbon. I feel they are both great options, but the aluminum was closer to my budget and the weight savings between the two was minimal. So far, the poles function really well and the fit/finish is excellent. All the clasps hold tight and the cork grips have a great “natural” feel. I own many OV products and when I’ve had an issue with anything, their customer service addressed it immediately and that means a lot to me. I don’t mind spending more on a quality product that will last for years from a company that will support you if it ever fails from a manufacturing perspective. That being said, I’ve purchased over 40 products from them and only 2 required warranty claims that were taken care of promptly. Im a big OV fan so my reviews is slightly biased. 😆👍🏻.

Easy secure adjustment

Easy secure adjustment, the grips are comfy, and the tip caps and two pole holders that came as packaging are nice extras. Straps adjust quickly, and are soft on wrists without rolling or slipping. They are very light. Quality at exceptional price.

Great Trekking Poles

Had been looking for a trekking pole upgrade for some time when the Komperdell Explorer Zero Corks came across my radar. I like the combination of quality and value (at least compared to the carbon version). Very satisfied so far.
