Highline Thermal Leggings

Paired these with skyline trail shorts.
Great combination and quick drying which helps not having to pack additional gear. These kept me cool during the day with venting in the crotch area and warm in the chilly evenings.

These thermal leggings are not like the thermals of old, I’ve had many kinds from Outdoor wear, Work wear, and high end Snowboard thermals. All of those have a thick cotton or brushed cotton feel that were noticeable tight and bulky under pants when layering.
These thermals feel sleek with a silky feel, They slide right into pants without any resistance, They feel like they aren’t even there, They are also light and pack away to nothing without sacrificing warmth, I was set on buying SmartWool thermals because I wanted the best, I didn’t even know OV made thermals, I was just going to buy a puffy jacket. I have found the best thermal leggings by accident and so glad I didn’t buy the SmartWool before trying OV.

Nice thermals. Warm and comfortable. Little tight in the legs and could use a zipper on sides gor easy on and off.

Stretchy enough for trail running, warm with fleece backing. It indeed seems much more durable than Polartec Alpha 90 gsm, while being less breathable. That is fitting for high-exertion lower body wear during winter.

Actual weight on scale is 112g in Size M. The fit is loose compared to spandex-compression tights. What remains to be seen is if it is chafe-free enough on its own for long-distance running. Otherwise, you would add a boxer brief next to the skin, a combo that is still light compared to most long tights.

I favor no weight-adding features like pockets, as this is meant to be worn beneath shorts or pants during colder weather. I'm satisfied.

Fit nice! Looking forward to using them for cooler bike rides under my shorts this spring.

I had to exchange my thermal leggings due to a stitching that came out.
They made the exchange easy and simple.
They gave me an option of sending them the return item OR ship the new item out first so I receive it quicker but gave me a couple of weeks to send back the old item before charging me for a full purchase.
I chose the second option and returned my leggings after receiving the new ones. I was able to reuse all the packaging that the new leggings came in so nothing was wasted, printed out the return label and dropped it off at the post office.

Comfortable, well made, fit just as expected. Will be an excellent base layer while backpacking or trips to the snow.

I've used these a lot, they are very lightweight and reasonably warm. They are comfortable enough to wear on cold nights to sleep warmer or under my hiking pants on a cold hike.

These leggings are close to perfection. Soft, breathable, and warm. Another item to add to my ever-growing list of outstanding and satisfied purchases from OV.

The highline thermal leggings are a great piece of gear. They are super lightweight and and comfortable. We’ll have to see how durable they are now.. So far I like them. Well done OV.

Worked as described. I wore them for 3 days straight. They kept me warm and never wet always dry. Only disappointed to find out it was just polyester and not some super new material.

These leggings are soft and keep me warm. Based on using them I would highly recommend them.

Nice, lightweight, kind of like long underwear / base layer, no pockets). And no fly so they qualify as pants. They can serve two functions: base layer and spare pair of pants. Nice.

Lightweight. Warm but airy.

Very soft and ultralight. I could not find anything like it in the market. I always have it for my winter camps.

I’ve had my eye on these for a while and I finally pulled the trigger and got them. Very happy that I did because I got them just in time for the big winter storms of 2026. Did I mention how light and warm they are? Great product.

These are warm and the fit is decent. I didn’t realize these don’t come with a fly. It’s super annoying to have to deal with this in cold temps with multiple layers on.

Overall these are a decent base layer. Very warm, comfortable and extremely light. I took 1 star off because the first pair they sent me had a seam coming apart on the waistband when I took it out of the package. The ensuing return process has been a bit of a pain point, honestly, but it is what it is. But as for the pants, my only complaint is consistent with the damaged condition these pants arrived in- the fabric seems very delicate and prone to tears etc (as is the case with most ultralight gear). An extra ounce may be worth it to look for a more sturdy/better quality base layer, but overall I kept them and rated 4 stars because I am satisfied with them and will wear them.

These leggings are fantastic. I wore these multiple nights in the teens with great success. Just what I was looking for. The meterial and feeling of the leggings is similar to the kuiu peleton 97 jacket. Hopefully OV will make a pullover jacket to match the leggings.

I received my leggings about two weeks ago. The weather in North Carolina is normally mild in December. However this year we had eight days of freezing weather with the lowest temperature of 14 degrees. I wore my Highline leggings and was very pleased with their performance. I might purchase another pair. Tom

Very comfortable. So far just lounging around the house. Hopefully I will get some use out of them this weekend on my trip.

These things were great kept me warm on my DGMBR ride.

First Impressions: Great! The length is good for me, i have a 34” inseam. They are plush on the inside and smooth on the outside, they are just wht Ive been looking for.

I got these to replace a pair of ZPacks Octa Fleece pants I returned because they were so short.

Havent used them yet in the feild, but I am pleased upon arrival!

I love these for warmth and used them for my sleep pants on my thru of JMT. Unfortunately, they got pin holes that got bigger over time, and there's now a big hole at the waist band, I followed all washing instructions. I really hoped they'd last longer than one season. Still...I'll wear them until they fall a part completely as the warmth to weight ratio is awesome.

Good fit

I have used these on several nights outdoors, ranging from low 30's to 40's. They are light weight and almost too warm in the mid 40's. The only two items that could be improved are a cell pocket and the fit is a little too low waist, making it an odd fit for my shape. It feel like it rides higher in the front, and almost gives me plumber crack in the back. Would love if they had a little higher rise.

Love these leggings.. Couldn't believe how lightweight they were and yet also nice and comfy and warm. Highly recommend!
