(USED) Women's Satu Adventure Pants

I purchased these through a kickstarter campaign. I was a bit concerned about the size. I am 62 years old, a 31 inch waist and 5 feet tall. When you are over 50 your body changes and good fitting pants can be more of a challenge. Firstly the fabric is amazing; it has a stretch but not overly stretchy and the smooth 'hand' of the fabric is comfortable from the moment I put them on. However and as (or more) importantly: they FIT REALLY WELL. Even me. The waist has some 'give' in it which is always a good thing for us women regardless of our age and the cut and design are slimming. I only wish I had ordered a second pair when I had the chance to get the kickstarter price. I am not inclined to recommend clothing to my daughter or friends but I am definitely recommending these Satu pants.

These pants are incredible. I love the feel, the look, the texture, and how well they hold up and laundry.

I did have a bit of an issue with sizing. According to the sizing, ordered a size 10 which fit in the waist but was too large in the hip. Knowing that I would love the pant, I purchased a size 8 which is a bit snug at first in the waist but is a much better fit.

Customer service responded quickly with an exchange form and a pre-paid label for return.

I'm a happy hiker and can't wait to see what's next on the horizon for Outdoor Vitals and technical wear.

I love these pants. I'm a larger gal (size 20) and find pants in this size range rely on spandex and elastic waste bands and when they don't there is typically an area that doesn't fit. I'm happy to say these are form fitting without being skin tight and there is enough room for me to add a base layer as needed. Material and stitching is a high quality and feels soft and comfortable. I used them on a quick walk in freezing temps and the side vents work great when I started working up a sweat. I can bend over and the pants move with me without restricting my movement or stretching out so much that they won't stay up. Love the cargo zip pocket...fits my cell phone easily. Front pockets are my a bit high for access but are deep. Can't wait to break them in on trail!

I am surprised to read so many reviews about these pants being baggy. I absolutely love these pants! I am 5'5", 108lbs and wear a size 2 regular. I did try on a size at one point which was a bit more comfortable in the waist, but baggy in the legs and hips (so I guess I can see where those people are coming from). But I sized down and now these pants are super flattering! I've worn these pants backcountry ski touring, and am currently sitting at work at the hospital in them. Literally comfortable and perfect material for sports and adventures, while stylish and nice enough looking for a professional setting. My one complaint is the super high waisted fit. These pants sit right below my belly-button when standing, and rise up even a bit more when I'm sitting. And the waist is a bit tight, even on my slender waist. The material is tough and durable, and is water resistant. I love how hidden the vents are, you can't see them at all unless you unzip them. The pockets are huge! Which is a rare find in women's pants. Both front pockets and the leg pocket fit my phone no problem! I love this. I haven't worn these when it is warm out, but I imagine they might be a bit hot because the material is a little bit thick.

I ordered my Satu pants via an Indiegogo campaign. Being concerned about fit, I asked for size-related measurements via the online chat feature. My measurements cross into two different sizes: I weigh about 136 pounds, am 5' 7.5' tall, my waist is 33 and my hips are 40 - should I get an 8 or a 10? Too small and it would be uncomfortably tight, too big and it would float annoyingly around my body. I ordered an 8 and they do fit, however the waist is a tad tight (take in mind that I abhor tight clothing, and that tight for me probably would not feel tight to you), but the leg length and width look and feel good. I am currently losing weight so they may end up being quite comfy. I'm not a big fan of the way the pockets are made - the opening is very high, positioned near the hip bone, and the pockets, while deep, are fairly flat, close to the body, so it is more difficult to fit my hands in the pockets to either place or retrieve an object - perhaps it's intentional to make it difficult for objects to accidentally fall out. I've only worn these pants for two days, but I did walk a 2-mile roundtrip to my local postoffice in windchill temps between 0-5℉. I added a base layer of an old, thin pair of Patagonia capilene bottoms, their lightest ones I think, to help insulate from the wind. I'm very impressed at how comfortable I was during the walk. Ideally, I would have liked to try on a size 10 to see how they would fit. If the size 8 fit me better I would give 5 stars.

I backed this project and used your sizing chart and ordered those results no matter how odd they were and the pants are huge on me. I want to exchange but I cannot fi d a size chart now to walk me through and I cannot find an order number probably because it was a Kickstarter. I dont know but I'd like help from the company to resolve this. Thanks.
