We didn’t hold back on any features. Everything you know and love from our LoftTek Jacket is still here, but the NovaPro Vest takes warmth & performance to the next level!
This innovative puffy vest utilizes all-new Nova Zero Stitch™ Fabric, which is neither bonded nor stitched, but literally woven into place. The I-tube baffle design gives the NovaPro a brand new look while eliminating the chance for stitches to wear out or snag on things as you brush by.
What this means is that you get a jacket with 10,000 fewer stitch holes than typical down or puffy jackets, making the NovaPro more water & wind resistant, and ultimately more durable! It's hard to get any moisture through this fabric!
But we didn't stop there. The new Nova Jacket line also utilizes our brand new DownLT™ insulation, which combines mostly 850 Fill Power HyperDry duck down with a small percentage of synthetic LoftTek. DownLT™ insulation is much more stable than typical down, and will stay lofted even when soaked (in the small chance that moisture even gets through the Nova Zero Stitch Fabric!)
These new innovations give you a warmer, more reliable vest that you can take on any adventure without worrying about it wetting out or not performing the way you need it to.
This vest is ideal for 4th season applications and cold weather uses. The fit should be loose enough to allow other layers to be worn beneath it without compressing any insulation.
8.4 oz (size L)
Fill weight (size L): 90 g
Features:
Packs Into Own Pocket: Easily transport or store the vest in it's own left pocket! Simply flip the pocket inside out while stuffing the vest inside, and zip closed. Use it when you need it, and pack it away when you don't! Also use the vest as a pillow when it's packed away!
High Neck: Stay warm by sealing in the heat around your neck! When zipped up fully, the NovaPro Vest goes all the way up to your chin for warmth and comfort.
Adjustable Hem: Lock in heat by fitting the hem of the vest to your hips and waist. No need to worry about cord ends hanging down, excess cord will be stored in the front pockets!
Water Repellent Shell: The Nova Zero Stitch™ fabric not only has 10,000 fewer stitch holes (potential leaking points), but is also treated, which makes it difficult to get the vest wet. Water just beads up and rolls off! If the vest does get wet, the insulation stays lofted and continues to insulate.
Insulated Zippered Pockets: Keep your hands warm in the insulated pockets. Also keep your valuables from being lost by zipping them securely into these pockets!
Athletic Fit & Drop Back: The athletic cut and drop back of the vest keep you looking great no matter where you are. The drop back allows you to sit while keeping your rear and back fully covered.

Took my vest out for my first use. Weather was 50-60 degrees, kept me quite warm. Fit well too, I am 6'1" 210lbs. I bought the XL which is my preferred t-shirt size, very happy with the fit.
This has become my go to piece of gear whether I am going to the store or out on a hike/walk. The XXL is a perfect fit for me and would only get better if I lost my belly. I generally wear the piece while hiking over my Ventus but from time to time over my Tern Hoodie. Even over the Tern it keep my core toasty.
First, get rid of Wair, they are useless, second put actual sizing information on your products. Third use a consistent sizing system. The sizing is way off from product to product.
I am 5'8, 165# 31" waist. I usually wear a medium, however Wair has me in a Large (which is ridiculous). I have a Medium ventus hoodie size Medium that is perfect, I purchased the vest in a medium and I am swimming in it, its too large even as an over layer. As an underlayer it is so long that is hangs out from beneath my jackets. I wrongly tried it on over a medium base layer and kind of accepted the fit as "close enough" so I can't return, but I really wish I had exchanged for a size small. Maybe that might be a closer fit.
Out of the box, I let it loft for a while before I wore it, and it fluffed up nicely. It isn’t going to get chilly enough for a while here for me to fully put it through its paces. I bought it to replace an old, bulky down vest. The weight, size, compressibility and vastly superior to my old vest. The fit seems true to the suggested size chart online. Praying for colder weather so that I can use it properly.
I love this vest! It does everything promised and fits true. I am looking forward to wearing this on the trail in the future. Good job, OV!
