Being ultralight is really about the mindset of having confidence in your gear and what you really need, enabling you to leave behind anything you might not need. By doing that you can feel more light and free on the trail and really have a much more enjoyable time.

If you want to travel internationally rather than have 3 suitcases full of stuff you can utilize one carry on backpack and simplify the whole process. Why did you change from 'Opening the Outdoors' to 'Live Ultralight'?
While we still opening the outdoors for more people with our honest pricing model, we are passionate about much more than that. 'Live Ultralight' means to have more confidence and comfort on any of your adventures, and that's what we want for our followers in addition to enabling them to get outdoors.
What is the logic behind your logo design?
We used the owl in our logo to symbolize wisdom. We've always educated our followers via YouTube, email, blog posts, and more. Wisdom gives you confidence, whether that's in your gear, or your ability to use it. The owl is red which is a symbol of passion, both within the company and among our followers. As we truly embrace a 'Live Ultralight' lifestyle, passion for the outdoors only grows.

To us, Living Ultralight is not just about the lowest pack weight. It's about more enjoyable experiences! The better gear you have and the more wisdom on how to use it, the more confidence you'll have. It's not about getting rid of gear that you enjoy having around, it's about leaving behind extras that you would bring because of fear. You'll naturally be able to take fewer items if you are taking the best gear you are confident with.
