Used Product Condition Levels:

Rock Solid- 

Rock Solid items are GRADE A USED items ranging from open-box returns to lightly used but still close to original quality. A very small repair, scuff or snag may be present in some cases but the overall appearance is like new.

Broken In- 

Broken In items are GRADE B USED items that are lightly to moderately used. They have been used and washed multiple times. There may be a noticeable repair, discoloration, snag or pick on the item that is in otherwise great condition.

Trail Worn-

Trail Worn itms are GRADE C USED items have been well used but retain full functionality. Easily visible repairs or issues (that do not affect performance) are present. Dirt, stains, snags, or other wear and tear will be present but the item will get the job done.

Used Product Warranty Disclaimer- All Used Products sold by OV have been inspected for Manufacturing & Materials Defects and have been found to be free of any need for a warranty claim. Due to this inspection there shouldn't be any cause for claims inside of our Product Lifetime Warranty offered for New products.

Our new LoftTek Hybrid insulation utilizes cutting edge science to stay lofted and warm even when it gets wet! You can breathe into this balaclava all night, and the condensation won't cause the insulation to fail!
• Ultralight Weight: 650+ fill power LoftTek Hybrid insulation fills the balaclava, which gives you best in class weight to warm ratios being mainly synthetic insulation. The 10D nylon liner & shell is both comfortable and ultralight weight. 
• More Comfortable: We've eliminated the back cinch toggle behind your head and replaced it with a fitting elastic band. This allows the balaclava to turn with your head, and prevents an uncomfortable adjustment toggle from digging into your head when you lay down.
• Full Coverage Warmth: The balaclava length ensures that your neck is fully covered with a specialized cut out to fit around your shoulders. The front cinch cord allows you to customize the facial opening size to your preferences.

Description 

Not all balaclavas are the same…While they all typically perform the basic function of covering your head and neck, particularly while using an ever-more-popular topquilt, the question to really ask is: Will it keep you warm and comfortable?

When we designed the new Outdoor Vitals LoftTek™ Hybrid Balaclava, we wanted to fix or eliminate common questions and concerns with current puffy balaclavas. For starters, down wetting out & failing because the user was breathing into it all night was an issue. Cinch cord toggles digging into the back of your head was another! The problem was that without that back cinch cord, the balaclava wouldn't turn with your head and you'd end up in the claustrophobic situation of having your face in the back of your balaclava by the end of the night!

Those problems are completely solved with our new design! Rather than down insulation, we've used LoftTek™ Hybrid insulation that can get soaking wet and still not collapse or fail! You can have complete confidence of a warm balaclava all night, no matter what! Second, instead of a rear cinch cord, we've used a fitted elastic band to get a comfortable fit & ensure that as you turn your head, the balaclava moves with you. While laying on your back, you won't have to worry at all about uncomfortable cinch cord toggles digging into your head!
