Breathable Waterproofing

Using Toray's innovative Torain® technology, the Tushar rain jacket is ultralight, breathable, durable, AND nearly weightless. 

We've utilized 2 different membranes that have been mapped to cover the correct parts of your torso for optimized breathability & all day waterproofing. The gray areas on the Tushar are most resistant to water saturation, and the colored areas are most breathable. This will help prevent pressure areas (such as where a backpack or shoulder straps sit) from getting saturated even if the DWR treatment eventually wears away, and will still allow other areas to breath -all while keeping you completely dry! 

This means you get a rain jacket you can always rely on.

Durable & Ultralight

Most ultralight jackets tear from the slightest snag or catching fabric in their own zipper. This is because often a 7D fabric is all that is used to achieve the ultralight weight. 

But the Tushar Jacket uses a 20D fabric that is durable enough for you to actually wear it all day without worrying about accidentally tearing it! 

And the jacket only weighs 7.4 oz!

All Day Comfort

Part of what enables the ultralight weight of the jacket is the 3D interior backing. This 3D backing keeps the waterproof membranes off your skin so it doesn't feel clammy like other rain jackets, & it also helps maintain more breathability. 

This 3D printed backing is also what helps the Tushar stay so ultralight! Most jackets have a full layer as the interior backing, but this 3D backing is considered to be a much lighter half layer while accomplishing the same purpose!

The breathability, durability, and comfort of the Tushar means you can wear it all day without having to worry about snags. You don't have to take it off and put it on countless times!
